Summer with PAX North

PAX will be having PAX in the Park at Isleville Playground with family time and a hot dog BBQ following the service on June 29, July 27, and August 24. For the rest of the summer, we’ll be having scaled back services at the church with self-serve spaces for kids.

  • PAX will be having PAX in the Park at Isleville Playground with family time and a hot dog BBQ following the service on June 29, July 27, and August 24. Make plans to join us: people usually bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for the service and you can bring change of clothes for the kids if they’d like to run through the splash pad afterwards! In case of rain or other inclement weather, we’ll be back at the church.

  • July 26, 2025 is the Africville Reunion in Halifax, and PAX has been invited to help since PAX was just an itty bitty brand new church plant (maybe 2007?). This year we're going to be hosting a bunch of games as well as a craft for the kids (and young at heart). Please sign up for a shift here and connect with our neighbors to show them the love of God!

  • August 29-31 at Blomidon Bible Camp in the Valley. Come for a day or stay for the whole weekend! There are unlimited spaces for tents and a limited number of cabins available. Register by emailing info@paxnorth.ca and find more about Blomidon Bible Camp by going to www.blomidon.camp

  • Get together with your church family for some fun around the city! More details will be posted as they get planned

    July 14- Hangout at the Commons
    Come play spikeball, frisbee, or just hangut on a lawn chair and eat some snacks. You can even bike or rollerskate on the Oval! Bring friends, family, and snacks!

    August 6- Potluck Picnic at Penhorn
    Bring your family, bring something to share for a picnic supper, bring a swimsuit for a dip in the lake. 5:30-8pm. Click here for google map directions. Raindate: August 13

    August 9- Soccer Baseball at Flinn Park
    Come have some fun with a big game of Soccer Baseball! All ages and skills welcome. We’ll meet up and make the teams at 10 and start the game at 10:30. There are playgrounds and lots of shade for those who don’t want to play but want to hang out! Bring water!

    August 31- Talent Show at PAX Camping
    Come see what unique talents exist in PAX! No need to pre-sign up, just come to Blomidon Bible Camp after Saturday supper!
