The Gospel offers hope across cultures and times
As our region becomes increasingly multi-cultural, we want to be sensitive and intentional to understand the worldviews of those whom God has brought here.
This conference will help you understand and think deeper about how to present the good news of Jesus to those around you. How does it speak to their culture? How does it speak to your own?
Hosted by PAXnorth church, an urban community in the middle of Halifax, the conference will run Friday night and all day Saturday (October 23 and 24), concluding with a service of Desperate Prayers on Sunday, October 25 at 4pm. There is also a pre-conference on Friday, October 23, that includes supper for those in leadership capacities.
Registration is $25 for the weekend, $35 if you include the pre-conference. Because we want to make this accessible to young families, we are also trying to offer childcare for $10/kid for the weekend. These registrations include snacks and lunch on Saturday.
