PAXnorth

Location & Services

PAXnorth meets every Sunday morning, 10:30am, at 5568 Cunard Street – come early for (really good) coffee and snacks.

We offer kid friendly  care and teaching during PAXworship for ages 0-2 years in the nursery, ages 3-5 years in PAXtots, and ages 6-10 years in PAXkids. We also have a private corner for nursing mothers to breastfeed and still hear the service. During the worship through music portion of our service the kids return to their parents so they can learn to worship together with the Church alongside their family.

Getting there by…

Bus:

Take the #7 bus to the Bus Stop Theatre on Gottingen Street. Cunard Street is almost directly across the street. Walk two blocks towards the Commons / Agricola Street. We are between Creighton and Maynard in the big, beige, building on the south side of the street beside the transmission service center.

Car:

Coming in from east of HRM? Take the MacDonald Bridge onto the peninsula and take a left hand turn at North & Gottingen (the first set of lights after the bridge). Cunard is your third right hand turn. There is plenty of street parking, and the Transmission Shop has been gracious enough to allow us to use their lot – please respect their property and do not park in front of the big bay doors.

Coming in from west of HRM? Take the 102 onto the peninsula and Bayers Road. Stay on Bayers Road until it turns into Young Street (at Windsor Street). Take a right onto Agricola at the Olands Brewery. Stay onto Agricola until you hit the Commons and take a left onto Cunard. There is plenty of street parking, and the Transmission Shop has been gracious enough to allow us to use their lot – please respect their property and do not park in front of the big bay doors..

By bike:

There are various routes you can take in from all over Halifax, check out HRM’s 2012 Bike Map for more details.
